Featured Roguelike: 3089

3089 is the latest in a series that all started with 3059, which was originally inspired by NetHack.

3089 takes a new spin on the genre by mixing modern 3D gameplay with traditional roguelike elements. In 3089, you'll find randomly generated terrain, enemies, items (which can be separated into parts), quests and more. Although this game doesn't include more hardcore features like permadeath, item parts are permanently lost on death providing a sting to fear.

You are placed on planet Xax, and endless procedurally generated land that the Overlord uses for testing new robotic designs. You are free to wander the planet, take up quests, sneak around, gather followers, take on quests and of course, find lots and lots of randomly generated loot. You can also stop time in dire situations to escape or deal large amounts of damage.
