[[The Slimy Lichmummy]] is a hacklike with an unusual cyberpunk/fantasy setting. You start out with a shotgun and a dozen shells. Encounters include mutated ratmen and grenade-throwing chainsaw ogres. Improve your character by replacing body parts with machinery on your way to ascension.
[[NotEye]] Necklace of the Eye) is a frontend for playing roguelikes.  


Anti-grinding gameplay - you do not gain experience from kills and do not regenerate health naturally. Only player skill (and the RNG) counts.
It works with ASCII applications which use the system console for the UI (thus, it does not work with roguelikes which are also ASCII, but are implemented with e.g. SDL).


Minimal graphical style. Play in textmode or with an original black-gray-and-white tileset. Runs on Linux, Windows and others.
Since 5.0 it also supports libtcod 1.5.1 roguelikes.

Featured Roguelike: NotEye

NotEye Necklace of the Eye) is a frontend for playing roguelikes.

It works with ASCII applications which use the system console for the UI (thus, it does not work with roguelikes which are also ASCII, but are implemented with e.g. SDL).

Since 5.0 it also supports libtcod 1.5.1 roguelikes.
