Inspired by the book trilogy and movies, in [[Hunger Games|The Hunger Games]] you're one of 24 tributes forced to fight in a "battle royal" to the death until only one remains standing. It has classic Roguelike characteristics, including turn based, grid based movement, permadeath, randomly generated arenas, and AI controlled tributes and monsters with inventory. It features first person perspective graphics, and also a 3D element in which you can climb up trees and swim in water. Acquire weapons and equipment, develop alliances, kill enemies or maneuver them to kill each other, and preserve food supplies.
In this roguelike (which tips its hat to Disgaea in both title and art style) you play as the weakest of the dungeon denizens, the imp, scorned by all for its frailty. But the imp has one edge over all the other monsters; the ability to possess any enemy it defeats and take its form for its own! Make your way down through the randomly generated dungeon floors leveling up, possessing ever stronger enemies, and unlocking the secrets of their abilities for yourself. The game is easy to get into, but has plenty of complexity in its mechanics if you care to look.

"May the odds be <i>ever</i> in your favor!"
A complete from the ground up overhaul of last year's Python version of [[MidBoss]], this new rendition has better art, controls, (graphical) user interface, and is generally an all around improved version of the old game with way more abilities to unlock.

Featured Roguelike: MidBoss

In this roguelike (which tips its hat to Disgaea in both title and art style) you play as the weakest of the dungeon denizens, the imp, scorned by all for its frailty. But the imp has one edge over all the other monsters; the ability to possess any enemy it defeats and take its form for its own! Make your way down through the randomly generated dungeon floors leveling up, possessing ever stronger enemies, and unlocking the secrets of their abilities for yourself. The game is easy to get into, but has plenty of complexity in its mechanics if you care to look.

A complete from the ground up overhaul of last year's Python version of MidBoss, this new rendition has better art, controls, (graphical) user interface, and is generally an all around improved version of the old game with way more abilities to unlock.
