That's up to the airlines, not us mere mortals.  I'm also looking at a Frankfurt transfer (and a $1000 fee)  --[[User:JeffLait|JeffLait]] 20:31, 29 July 2008 (CEST)

Revision as of 18:31, 29 July 2008

Kiruna, Sweden: the_ru can probably host if enough people are willing to travel to Kiruna, Sweden.

Kisielewicz, Dopieralski: I'd prefer Poland, considering that we have the govermental RL world domination program, but as far as compromises go, I think Berlin is a nice idea.

Atlanta, Georgia: Atlanta is hosting Dragoncon 2008, a four day gaming convention, from Aug. 29 to Sept. 1st. I plan to promote roguelikes while I'm there. Plus the Stormtrooper parade they have downtown is outta sight.

Cracow, Poland: I propose Cracow/Poland, because roguelike development in Poland is supported by government funds, 5 university research teams, prime minister and a squirrel.

the_ru: Germany and Poland would be about the same distance for me, so both are ok

purestrain: Only if we drink some beer and everyone is speaking english slowly enough to be understandable...

I_Own_The_Letter_O: I would love to go to Atlanta but I cannot afford it, DragonCon sounds cool. I would love to vote for England but nobody else has suggested it. Out of the remaining Germany is the nearest to me and I speak a little of the language(tiny).

Mario Donick: Berlin is only 2 hours away from me, my brother, mother and friends of mine are living there - so Berlin ;) I would prefer a weekend in September, as in October university starts again.

Mingos: I'd love to go to Berlin, if you convince my boss to give me a week off, I'll change my vote :). Until that happens, my only alternative is Santiago...

njerpe: What a great excuse to go to Berlin! Its unlikely I'll be able to travel all that way, but I'll give it a good effort. Maybe there's a way to get others to participate remotely?

I really hope there is a way to participate remotely. Many people won't be able to attend. Nate879 01:44, 30 May 2008 (CEST)

Too soon for me to confirm my participation, unfortunately, as fares from Atlanta to Frankfurt are running $900. Maybe I'd be better off taking a steamship? --Njerpe 12:56, 13 July 2008 (CEST)
