Contribution to this page is very welcome. Be aware though your edits may turn characters of different languages into "????". Please use previews and make sure your browser has no problems supporting unicode. For this reason I disabled section editing shortcuts. When saving a section whole page may be affected. –Michal BielinskiTalk 12:53, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

edit: Okay, it breaks quickly after saving page. Few minutes after and unicode seems to get "decoded". Need to find solution or move this initiative somewhere else. 13:03, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

What does it depend on? It got saved OK, but upon editing, the correct encoding is returned mangled, so I can't really keep editing... Mingos 09:39, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

I think the Wikisoftware or the DB isn't unicode-enabled. Try searching for a non ASCII character. You will get a DB error back. I think as a workaround you can use HTML entities: For example: ü => ü --Bhaak 11:02, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

Synonyms

How to handle synonyms? English "Giant" could equally well be translated into German as "der Riese" or "der Gigant". It's more a matter of taste and maybe from which region you are from. I think, as long as it's at most 3 choices listing them all is okay: "der Riese, der Gigant,". --Bhaak 10:58, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

I added Polish synonyms in my last update, just follow the example ;) Mingos 12:33, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
