Toby the Trapper is written as a Windows console game and works best on this platform.  However it can also be compiled with Free Pascal Compiler (FPC) on [[Mac OS]] and [[Linux]] with few or no problems (certain graphical issues may arise with the cursor on Linux platforms).  It should also run fine under Wine, though possibly with some slowdowns.

7DRL

Description

Toby the Trapper is a coffeebreak roguelike written in Free Pascal by Darren Grey for the 7DRL 2010 competition. It features a versatile cave generator and a somewhat novel battle system whereby enemies can only be harmed by traps laid by the player. It's a moderately difficult game whereby any misstep can lead to instant death, but careful play can get you far. There are three main endings dependant on how you finished the game, and five variations for each dependant on how you played the game.
