::I can't believe I didn't notice that option before, but it actually works. Thanks! However, it still includes the user creations/block log in the total edit count, which means you'd have to set the limit to 250 or 500 to see at least 50 actual changes. Found a setting: [[wikipedia:mw:Manual:$wgNewUserLog|$wgNewUserLog]]. This requires access to the wiki's configuration files, but it disables the user creation log entirely. Bot recent changes blocking
If you hide bots on the recent changes, this user is not filtered out. Which makes the recent changes list a bit unusable right now. Not sure who I should contact about it so I'm just leaving a message here. --Soyweiser (talk) 17:32, 29 August 2013 (CEST)
