Oh silly me.

I get it now, thanks ???John ShedletskyTalk 04:30, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)

Templates

Uh, this is surely a stupid question, but could you tell me (or redirect me to a manual) how to use and what for are those templates? :-| --Kisielewicz 05:00, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)

It definitely isn't. The strange ones that I made can be deleted. There's a trick in a newer version of mediawiki that lets you make certain parameters in a template optional. For example, in the gamesinfo infobox, if someone chooses to, say, not enter the "released" param, the 3 or 4 templates would do weird trickery, and exclude the "released" row altogether (right now it would leave it in and give you some thing like {Template:Released} in place of the missing param). For the other (working) templates that I made, I'll write something up. –MT 05:14, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)

Please, mark somehow which ones should be deleted, and I'll delete them. --Kisielewicz 05:21, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)

Thanks - see category:delete –MT 05:24, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)

Oh, and another thing -- I like the templates for Roguelike projects... maybe add a similar template for Roguelike Developers? --Kisielewicz 13:19, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)

Carceri and DiabloRL

Carceri wasn't only talked about -- actually it is almost out of alpha. I didn't release it tough outside the carceri-dev-group so I understant that it counts as talkie talkie :).

DiabloRL will be developed any week now tough. I got lost in all this template stuff, so I hope you'll do the updating then :D. --Kisielewicz 20:06, 19 Sep 2006 (CEST)

Stop removing the "Roguelike games" category until my game shows up here without it: http://roguebasin.roguelikedevelopment.org/index.php?title=Category:Roguelike_games

"Articles in category "Roguelike games"" is the place where I - as a user - would look for a list of all games (independent of development status) and Warp Rogue does not show up there without this category.

Your "list of all roguelikes" link on the community portal talk page does not lead to such a list, but rather to a list of sublists.

And BTW who the fuck you are?! You edit this wiki like crazy, but I have never of any "M". Are you recognized by any other name inside the scene?--Copx

Your game will show up on that list when you hit ctrl-F5, forcing your cache to renew. See RogueBasin talk:Community Portal. I know it does, that's intentional. No, no other name. –MT 01:21, 21 Sep 2006 (CEST)

My game did not show up. I have tried ctrl-F5, reloading the page using the reload button, and even telling firefox to delete the entire cache. No Warp Rogue on the previously mentioned page. --Copx 01:29, 21 Sep 2006 (CEST)

Sorry, I should have said 'would have shown up'. I did remove it, and hope to remove all games, from that category, after all. –MT 01:32, 21 Sep 2006 (CEST)

Stop bashing M, copx... he's the greatest thing that happened to RogueBasin since it's creation ;-). The guy has a concept of organisation, and is willing to implement it -- let him do his work (because as seen on the Recent Changes log it's in PROGRESS), and we'll judge the effects later :). --Kisielewicz 02:16, 21 Sep 2006 (CEST)
